The flowery citrus scent of bergamot oil is amazingly uplifting, and this essential oil has traditionally been used as an antidepressant, disinfectant, pain reducer, and for relief from stress and anxiety in general. This fine oil is also often used in perfumery for its wonderfully distinctive scent.
Bergamot essential oil should not be used on the skin prior to sun or uv exposure as it may increase photo-sensitivity.
